چکیده
The preparation of quantum states is crucial for enabling computations and simulations. In this work, we present a general framework preparing ground many-body systems by combining the measurement-feedback control process (MFCP) with machine learning techniques. Specifically, employ Bayesian optimization (BO) to enhance efficiency determining measurement feedback operators within MFCP. As an illustration, study state one-dimensional Bose–Hubbard model. Through BO, are able identify optimal parameters that can effectively drive system towards low-energy high probability across various trajectories. Our results open up new directions further exploration development advanced strategies

Preparing thermal states of quantum systems by dimension reduction.
We present an algorithm that prepares thermal Gibbs states of one dimensional quantum systems on a quantum computer without any memory overhead, and in a time significantly shorter than other known alternatives. Specifically, the time complexity is dominated by the quantity N(‖h‖/T), where N is the size of the system, ‖h‖ is a bound on the operator norm of the local terms of the Hamiltonian (co...

متن کاملIs measurement-based feedback still better for quantum control systems?
In this paper, we put forward a fundamental question concerning feedback control of quantum systems: Is measurement-based feedback control still better than openloop control? In contrast to the classical control theory, the answer is far from obvious. This is because measurement-based feedback needs measurement to reduce the system uncertainty, whereas the measurement on a quantum system will i...
متن کاملRapid measurement of quantum systems using feedback control.
We introduce a feedback control algorithm that increases the speed at which a measurement extracts information about a d-dimensional system by a factor that scales as d(2). Generalizing this algorithm, we apply it to a register of n qubits and show an improvement of O(n). We derive analytical bounds on the benefit provided by the feedback and perform simulations that confirm that this speedup i...
